What we collect

Your account details (email address and sign-in provider), the tasks, projects, and settings you create, device tokens for push notifications if you turn them on, and basic usage counts such as how many AI roasts you used today. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To run Red Pen: storing and syncing your list, sending the reminders and notifications you ask for, and managing your subscription. When a roast is generated by AI, the task text and simple context (such as how many days it has been overdue) are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the line. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database, notifications), Anthropic (AI roasts), and Stripe (payments). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Your choices

You can turn roasts off, export all your data as a file, or delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your tasks and profile and cancels any active subscription.
